News tip: subject "Tip" — include a short account of what happened, where, when, and how we can reach you to verify.
Factual correction: subject "Correction" — include the link to the story, the passage that is wrong, what the correct information is, and your supporting evidence.
Right of reply: subject "Right of Reply" — include the link to the story, your response, and clear identification. The procedure is in our Corrections, Right of Reply & Right of Correction Policy.

How quickly we answer

Acknowledgement of a correction or right-of-reply request: within one working day.
A proven factual error: corrected within two working days of a complete report reaching us.
Right of reply: published at the first opportunity, within three working days of receiving the response and supporting material.

Contacting us safely

If speaking to us could put your safety or your job at risk, say so at the outset. The newsroom respects the right to refuse disclosure and protects the identity of sources granted confidentiality. Do not send restricted documents through insecure channels; contact us first so we can agree how. Personal data supplied by a complainant is used only to handle that matter, as set out in our Privacy Policy.

If our answer does not satisfy you

Readers and sources dissatisfied with the newsroom's handling of a complaint may take it to the Indonesian Press Council at dewanpers.or.id. Final judgement in reporting disputes rests with the Press Council. The publisher and responsible editor are named on our Masthead page.
