Denpasar — The Bali Provincial DPRD’s second-term Special Committee on Spatial Planning, Assets and Licensing is scheduled to complete its mandate on Oct. 6, 2026, and its chair, Dewa Made Mahayadnya, said the working period will not be extended for now.
The committee is expected to complete its six-month second-term work and submit its report to the leadership of the Bali Provincial DPRD. The report can then be accepted in a plenary session, according to the reported procedure.
The October 6 deadline matters for Bali planning and licensing
For foreign residents, property owners and visitors following development in Bali, the committee’s remit covers public oversight of spatial planning, regional assets and licensing. Its end date marks the stated deadline for the committee’s current work, rather than a general change to Bali’s planning or licensing rules.
The committee, known as Pansus TRAP, was formed as part of the provincial legislature’s oversight of the enforcement of regional regulations. Its work includes matters involving spatial planning, regional assets and licensing. The chair said the committee must first finish its report for the second-term period before the executive side can follow up.
The reported decision leaves open the possibility of further action after the current period, depending on developments in the executive’s follow-up. The committee’s mandate is scheduled to end on Oct. 6, 2026.
