Denpasar — Bank BPD Bali reported credit of Rp26.82 trillion (about US$1.64 billion) through the end of September 2026, an 8.52 percent year-on-year increase from Rp24.71 trillion (about US$1.55 billion) in September 2025. The bank said financing for productive sectors and micro, small and medium enterprises remained a central focus.

The lending figures were reported on Oct. 16, 2026, as Bank BPD Bali described its financing strategy for businesses and the regional economy. MSME lending reached Rp14.43 trillion (about US$906 million), equivalent to 53.80 percent of total lending, and grew 14.92 percent year on year.

Why Bank BPD Bali’s lending mix matters

For businesses and financial observers in Bali, the figures show where the region’s government-owned development bank is directing credit. Productive-sector lending is intended to support economic activity, while the bank’s MSME portfolio targets smaller businesses that often depend on working capital and investment financing.

The bank also reported that its Kredit Usaha Rakyat program reached Rp1.87 trillion (about US$117 million) through September 2026. Additional MSME financing included Rp1.46 trillion (about US$92 million) through Kredit KUSUMA, described as a graduation product from KUR, and Rp774.8 billion (about US$49 million) through Kredit Kusuma Sari.

In practice, the data indicates that Bank BPD Bali is giving substantial weight to smaller businesses within its overall lending portfolio. The reported results do not establish how individual borrowers qualify or whether the lending figures will change during the rest of 2026.
