Antosari — Tabanan’s Regional Disaster Management Agency distributed 30,000 litres of clean water to drought-affected residents of Antosari on 12 October 2026, according to Bali Post.
Why it matters: The delivery provided 30,000 litres to 150 Antosari households, while the forecast indicates that most of Bali may wait until December 2026 for the rainy season.
The agency worked with Perumda Tirta Amertha Buana to supply 150 households across three local administrative areas: Banjar Dinas Anyar, Banjar Petiles and Banjar Dinas Uma Seka. Each area received 10,000 litres for 50 households.
The distribution was reported on 14 October and the article was updated on 16 October. The agency said the water was intended to meet residents’ daily needs and advised people requiring further water or emergency disaster assistance to contact its operations centre.
Separate reporting by Radio Republik Indonesia, citing Bali’s climatology station, said the 2026–27 rainy season was expected to begin in late November in some parts of Bali, while most areas were forecast to enter the season in December. The season was expected to peak in February 2027 across most of the island.
The forecast provides wider context for the water distribution, but the reports do not establish that Antosari itself will enter the rainy season in a particular month.
