Ubud Museum Shows Keliki Kawan Miniature Paintings
ARMA Museum in Ubud is showing miniature works by Keliki Kawan artists from Sept. 17 to Sept. 30, 2026, highlighting a detailed local painting tradition.

Ubud — An exhibition of Keliki Kawan miniature paintings is on view at ARMA Museum in Ubud, Gianyar, from Sept. 17 through Sept. 30, 2026. The exhibition, titled Om Hara Kailasha Exhibition: Keliki Kawan Miniature Bangkit, features works by dozens of artists from the Keliki Kawan community.
The show brings a local Balinese painting tradition into a museum setting during the final week of its run. NusaBali described the works as miniature paintings distinguished by intricate detail, painstaking execution and depictions of Balinese community life.

The exhibition was opened by Anak Agung Gede Rai, the founder of ARMA. A separate report on ARMA Fest 2026 also identified a Keliki painting exhibition beginning on Sept. 17 and described Keliki-style painting as a local art form associated with Desa Keliki.
The exhibition continues through Sept. 30, 2026, at ARMA Museum in Ubud, Gianyar.
