BMKG Forecasts Up to 2.5-Metre Waves in Southern Bali

Denpasar — The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysical Agency (BMKG) forecast Bali sea conditions on Sept. 26, 2026, with waves of 0.5–1.25 metres in northern waters and 0.5–2.5 metres in southern waters.

The forecast covers Saturday, Sept. 26. BMKG identifies the southern Bali waters among areas where waves may reach 2 metres or more, including waters around the Badung Strait and southern Bali.

Why the forecast matters for ferry and fishing-boat passengers

For foreign visitors and residents, the forecast is most relevant when travel involves ferries, fishing boats or other small vessels operating around Bali’s ports and coastal waters.
