Mangupura — Polres Badung is offering mobile renewal services for active SIM A and SIM C driving licences on Monday, October 19, at Damkar Dalung, east of Pasar Dalung, and Mall Pelayanan Publik Puspem Badung. The service runs from 08:00 to 13:00 WITA (UTC+8).

Applicants must bring a photocopy of an electronic identity card, a photocopy of an active driving licence, and health and psychological certificates. The mobile service is for renewals of SIM A and SIM C, rather than new licences or licences whose validity has already expired.

Balipost reported that the licence fees set under Government Regulation No. 76 of 2020 are Rp80,000 (about US$5) for SIM A and Rp75,000 (about US$5) for SIM C. Additional charges may apply for administrative documents and, where conducted at another health facility, health and psychological tests. The report lists those test charges as Rp35,000 (about US$2) and Rp60,000 (about US$4), respectively.

Why it matters for foreign residents and visitors

The service is a local Indonesian police facility, so its stated requirements refer to Indonesian identity and licence documents. A foreign resident or visitor is not identified in the reports as eligible to use the mobile service, and the reports do not describe an alternative process for foreign-issued licences. The practical point established by the schedule is that only holders of active SIM A or SIM C licences can use this renewal channel.

The locations are intended to provide renewal access without requiring applicants to visit a Satpas, the Indonesian police unit responsible for driving-licence administration. The schedule covers Badung on October 19 only, with both service points operating during the stated morning period. The published information says updated schedules may be monitored through the official accounts of Ditlantas Polda Bali, the Bali regional traffic directorate, or Polres Badung.
