Denpasar — The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency (BMKG) listed an active short-term rainfall warning for Bali from 08:29 to 12:00 WITA (UTC+8) on Monday, Nov. 2, 2026. The agency describes nowcasting as a very short-range warning covering conditions expected over the next 0–6 hours.

The warning was issued as heavy overnight rain had caused reported damage in Gianyar and Bangli. Tribun-Bali reported landslides, broken roads and fallen trees after rain from Sunday night into the early hours of Monday. Reported damage included the Gambih road in Payangan, Gianyar, which could no longer be used by vehicles, and a collapsed section of Jalan Pulasari in Tembuku, Bangli.

Why the warning matters for Bali visitors

For foreign residents and visitors, the warning means that weather conditions could change quickly and that travel through affected parts of Bali may face disruption during the stated period. The reports identify damage in Gianyar and Bangli, including roads that were blocked or damaged by runoff and landslides. The warning itself applies at subdistrict level, so conditions may vary substantially between nearby areas.

Tribun-Bali reported that a landslide near the parking area of Pura Kehen in Bangli severely damaged four kiosks. It also said that a landslide in Banjar Lokaserana, Siangan, Gianyar, blocked traffic and prevented motorcycles from passing. No fatalities had been reported in the incidents described by the outlet.

BMKG’s daily warning page separately listed several Bali areas under the Waspada category for Nov. 2, including Bangli, Kintamani, Susut, Tembuku, Payangan and other subdistricts.
