Denpasar — Bali is forecast to see light rain on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2026, with temperatures of 25–33°C, while waves south of the island could reach 2,0 metres.
The forecast was issued by the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) for the day Hindu residents observe Banyupinaruh. BMKG also said no Bali regency or city was under an alert for moderate to extreme rain between 8 a.m. WITA on Nov. 1 and 8 a.m. WITA on Nov. 2.
Waves could affect southern Bali waters
For visitors and residents using ferries, fishing boats or other vessels, the marine forecast points to a more specific risk than the islandwide rain outlook. Waves in southern Bali waters are forecast at 0,5–2,0 metres, compared with 0,5–1,0 metres in northern Bali waters.
BMKG identified thresholds at which conditions could become hazardous: ferries face risk if wind reaches 21 knots alongside waves of 2,5 metres, while fishermen face risk at 15 knots and waves of 1,25 metres. The forecast wind direction is east to south, at 4–35 kilometres per hour.
Other reported conditions include sunrise at 05:50 WITA and sunset at 18:15 WITA. The outlook does not state that ferries or tourism sites will close; it describes conditions that may affect marine operations if the stated wind and wave thresholds are reached.
