DENPASAR — The military police unit at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Air Force Base held a community outreach visit to Dharma Jati II children’s home in Penatih, East Denpasar, on Thursday, 29 October 2026, according to event information provided to the newsroom.
The visit formed part of activities ahead of the Indonesian Air Force Military Police’s 80th anniversary. Photographs supplied with the event information show a symbolic handover of assistance and personnel gathering with children at the home.
Known in Indonesia as Polisi Militer TNI Angkatan Udara, or Pomau, the corps marks its anniversary on 1 November. An Indonesian Air Force publication confirms that the 80th anniversary falls on 1 November 2026, three days after the Denpasar visit.
Dharma Jati II is located in the Penatih area of East Denpasar. A July 2023 report by the Denpasar branch of the Indonesian Red Cross places the home on Jalan Trengguli. That earlier report concerns a separate outreach programme and provides background on the venue.
The anniversary visit brought the air base’s military police personnel into a local community setting. The supplied photographs record the handover and group gathering at the children’s home, with a banner identifying the outreach as part of Pomau’s anniversary activities.
