Dock B, Dock C and Welcome Station enter service at Bali Gapura Marina

Bali — PT Pelindo Sinergi Lokaseva (PSL) and PT Marina Development Indonesia (MDI) have officially brought Dock B and Dock C of Bali Gapura Marina into operation and opened a new Welcome Station that centralises arrival and departure services for visiting yachts and seaplanes, according to an announcement published in late July 2026.

The operators describe Bali Gapura Marina, at Benoa Port in South Bali, as Indonesia’s first international full-service marina and a key element of the Bali Maritime Tourism Hub development. The marina is planned to offer around 180 berths, including capacity for superyachts, by the third quarter of 2026, with a wider waterfront lifestyle hub to follow.

The newly operational Dock B and Dock C are equipped with international-standard pedestal systems providing electricity and fresh water to visiting yachts. The Welcome Station functions as a central arrival and departure hub, combining travel and concierge services, a tenant lounge, and CIQP services — Customs, Immigration, Quarantine and Port Authority — in a single location.

According to coverage in regional maritime and yachting media, the Welcome Station is designed to streamline formalities for foreign-flagged vessels by handling quarantine, immigration, customs and port clearance in one dedicated facility. Integrated air–sea access and visitor handling

Project backers have framed Bali Gapura Marina as a strategic step in positioning Indonesia more firmly on the global yachting and superyacht circuit. By centralising border formalities and integrating air–sea transfers, the marina aims to offer an arrival experience comparable to established luxury marine destinations elsewhere in the Asia–Pacific region.

Phased development and capacity targets

Industry reports on the marina’s development outline a phased rollout. A pilot commercial opening was scheduled around December 2025 for Dock B, when visiting yachts would first gain access to water, power and provisioning, supported by the Welcome Station. Subsequent phases include full technical service facilities by mid-2026, expansion to about 180 berths — including berths for large superyachts — by the third quarter of 2026, and the eventual creation of a broader waterfront commercial and lifestyle district around Benoa.
