Denpasar — Pertamina Patra Niaga said on Friday, 9 October 2026, that delayed Pertalite deliveries had contributed to vehicle queues at filling stations in Denpasar, Badung and Tabanan. Some queues extended to the roadside, according to local reports.
Why it matters: Motorists in Denpasar, Badung and Tabanan faced queues while Pertamina adjusted supplies and prepared a further delivery scheduled for 11 October 2026.
Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Jatimbalinus said the delayed supply had arrived in Bali on 7 October and that the company was adjusting distribution to maintain fuel availability. The statement was reported by Bali Post and CNBC Indonesia.
Another shipment of Pertalite was scheduled to arrive at Pertamina’s Integrated Terminal Manggis in Karangasem early on Sunday, 11 October, according to Detik Bali. The shipment was reported to include about 18,000 kilolitres of Pertalite and 2,500 kilolitres of Pertamax.
Pertamina said the shipment had sailed from Balongan in Indramayu, West Java, and that the company was monitoring stocks and preparing terminal operations so distribution could resume promptly after arrival.
Queues were reported at several stations in Denpasar, Badung and Tabanan, with particularly long lines for Pertalite. Detik Bali reported that queues in parts of Denpasar had begun to ease as Pertamina worked to improve supply.
The company attributed the disruption to delayed Pertalite deliveries and said it was also reviewing stock management, facilities and operating coordination to support the recovery of services.
