Denpasar — Bali calendar reports identify Saturday, 7 November 2026, as Saniscara Pon Sinta and list customary activities regarded as suitable or unsuitable on that day.

Why it matters: Hindu residents and visitors may use the customary classifications to understand which ceremonies and activities the reports associate with 7 November 2026.

According to Tribun Bali, the calendar lists drawing holy water as suitable, while weddings, cremations and building a house are unsuitable under the Carik Walangati observance. It also lists activities involving fire as suitable, but says roofing a house, consecrating a building and farming should be avoided under Geni Rawana.

A separate detikBali report also identifies drawing holy water and building a house among the activities considered suitable, while saying Manusa Yadnya and Pitra Yadnya rites are unsuitable. Manusa Yadnya includes ceremonies such as weddings and hair-cutting rites; Pitra Yadnya includes funerals, cremations and related rites.

The reports present the guidance as an ala ayuning dewasa reference in the Balinese Hindu calendar. It concerns customary religious timing rather than a government restriction.

Calendar guidance

  • Suitable: drawing holy water, making fishing equipment and some work involving fire.
  • Unsuitable: certain weddings, cremations, funerals, house roofing, building consecration and farming.
