Puri Pemecutan — Denpasar police will impose temporary traffic closures and diversions around Puri Pemecutan on Friday, 6 November 2026, and Monday, 9 November 2026, during a series of ceremonies.

Why it matters: Drivers using roads around Puri Pemecutan face temporary restrictions and diversions from 13:00 on 6 November and during two periods on 9 November.

The first restriction will run from 13:00 to 17:00 WITA on 6 November. Police will close westbound traffic at the Hasanudin–Gunung Kawi intersection and northbound traffic at the Hasanudin–Thamrin intersection. Vehicles will be diverted via Gunung Kawi, Bukit Tunggal and Gunung Batur roads, according to Bali Post.

On 9 November, the same intersections will be restricted from 08:00 to 13:00 for the Purwa Daksina ceremony, which will use Hasanudin, Thamrin, Gunung Raung and Gunung Kawi roads around Puri Pemecutan. Police will again direct vehicles through alternative roads.

A second restriction on 9 November will begin at 15:00 and continue until 05:00 WITA on 10 November. Westbound traffic at Hasanudin–Gunung Kawi, northbound traffic at Hasanudin–Thamrin and northbound traffic at Imam Bonjol–Gunung Batukaru will be closed or diverted.

The later arrangement is intended to support preparations for a procession to the coast along Thamrin and Imam Bonjol roads. The procession is scheduled to begin at 05:00 WITA, after which traffic will gradually return to normal, Bali Post reported.

Detik Bali reported that police will deploy personnel at several intersections and advised road users to follow officers' directions, observe diversion signs and use alternative routes.
