Denpasar — Pertamina’s fuel prices in Bali, West Nusa Tenggara and East Nusa Tenggara remained unchanged on Thursday, Oct. 1, with Pertalite at Rp10,000 per litre (about US$0.62), Pertamax at Rp15,950 per litre (about US$0.99) and Pertamax Turbo at Rp19,600 per litre (about US$1.22).
The prices were reported as the same as those in September. The unchanged list also included Biosolar at Rp6,800 per litre (about US$0.42), Dexlite at Rp23,700 per litre (about US$1.48) and Pertamina Dex at Rp25,200 per litre (about US$1.57) in the three regions.
Why it matters to foreign residents and visitors
For foreigners who drive, rent a vehicle or use transport services in Bali and the Nusa Tenggara region, the unchanged prices mean that the listed fuel rates did not increase at the start of October. Pertalite and Biosolar are subsidised fuels, while Pertamax, Pertamax Turbo, Dexlite and Pertamina Dex are non-subsidised products.
The figures were based on information from MyPertamina and were also reported by Bali Post, which said Pertamina’s subsidised and non-subsidised fuel prices remained at September levels on Thursday, Oct. 1. The reports did not state a further price change or a timetable for one. The listed rates apply to fuel sold by Pertamina in Bali, West Nusa Tenggara and East Nusa Tenggara, the three regions covered in the report.
