Denpasar — The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) forecast for Bali on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2026, keeps variable weather and possible rain on watch across the island, while waves in waters south of Bali may reach 2,0 metres.
Rain ranging from light to moderate is expected in several districts, while the southern waters are identified as the area with the highest stated wave potential.
Southern Bali waters may see waves up to 2,0 metres
For people travelling along the coast or using small vessels, the wave outlook is the main operational concern. BMKG’s forecast places wave heights in southern Bali waters at 0,5–2,0 metres. The figure describes the possible sea state, not a guaranteed wave height at every location or throughout the forecast period.
The broader Bali weather outlook says rain remains possible in several parts of the island. The forecast therefore combines two separate considerations: changing land weather and elevated sea conditions in the south. Visitors and foreign residents are affected mainly through possible disruption to outdoor plans, coastal transport and other activities exposed to weather and waves.
BMKG is Indonesia’s national meteorological agency. The forecast was issued for conditions around Saturday, Nov. 7, 2026.
