Operation Patuh Agung 2026 is being conducted across Bali from October 26 through November 8. RRI reported that the 14-day campaign involves 1,055 personnel from Bali Police and district police commands and is intended to reduce traffic violations, crashes and crash fatalities.
Police said the operation is focusing on visible violations including riding without a standard helmet, using non-standard exhaust systems, operating vehicles without valid number plates and using false plates. Tourism areas including Kuta are among the locations receiving attention, according to Bali News.
The Bali Police campaign also includes enforcement involving foreign nationals, while officials have said traffic rules should apply equally to local residents and visitors. The operation is scheduled to continue until November 8.
