Ngurah Rai Airport Schedules Three-Scenario Emergency Exercise

Mangupura — PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia, which manages I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali, is scheduled to conduct an Airport Emergency Exercise on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2026. The full-scale drill will test three responses: a building fire, an airport security disturbance and an aircraft accident.

The exercise is planned as a coordinated test of the airport’s Airport Emergency Plan, according to reports citing Nugroho Jati. It is intended to assess personnel readiness and whether procedures work effectively in different emergency conditions.
