Demulih — Bangli’s disaster agency and fire-rescue service recorded storm-related landslides, fallen trees and road damage in three districts by 2 November 2026, after heavy rain and strong winds struck the regency overnight on 1 November.

Why it matters: Road damage and temporary access disruption affected travel between Bangli communities, while landslides and fallen trees damaged homes, shops and public infrastructure.

The incidents affected Susut, Bangli and Tembuku districts. Officials reported no deaths, while responders carried out initial handling and damage assessment at affected locations, according to Bangli’s disaster agency and fire-rescue service.

In Susut, a fallen coconut tree hit the Tanggahan Talangjiwa–Selati road in Demulih, while a landslide affected the Demulih–Sala road. Landslides were also reported near a home in Banjar Tangkas, Susut, and on the Sulahan–Cekeng road in Sulahan.

In Bangli district, a fallen tree in Kubu damaged the roof of a resident’s bathroom. A landslide near the eastern parking area of Kehen Temple damaged several shops. Another landslide was reported on the Selati–Gianyar road in Bunutin.

In Tembuku, a road in Pulasari was washed out, cutting traffic access and prompting nearby residents to use an alternative route. Fallen trees and collapsed utility poles also disrupted traffic on the Bangli–Karangasem route.

Bangli officials said the preliminary incident record covered events reported through 12:30 p.m. local time on 2 November. The agency said the damage assessment was continuing, while some response work had been completed through cooperation among emergency personnel and other authorities.

At the provincial level, Bali’s disaster agency recorded 54 disaster incidents across seven regencies and municipalities during 1–2 November, including 11 incidents in Bangli. The provincial tally included landslides, fallen trees and road damage.
