Denpasar — The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency (BMKG) listed an active short-term rainfall warning for Bali from 08:29 to 12:00 WITA (UTC+8) on Monday, Nov. 2, 2026. The warning system provides short-range rainfall information at the subdistrict level.
The listed window identified Bali as one of the provinces with an active warning on Nov. 2.
Why Bali’s subdistrict warning matters to travelers
A subdistrict-level warning gives visitors and local authorities a more specific picture than a province-wide forecast. Conditions can differ between nearby areas, so a warning for one subdistrict does not establish that the same weather is occurring across all of Bali. For travelers, the practical meaning is that rain-related conditions may affect particular parts of an itinerary while other areas remain outside the listed warning.
BMKG’s separate daily warning page also listed Bali locations under its Waspada, or caution, category for Nov. 2. Those areas included Petang in Badung; Bangli, Kintamani, Susut and Tembuku in Bangli; Banjar, Busung Biu, Gerokgak, Sawan, Seririt and Sukasada in Buleleng; Payangan in Gianyar; Mendoyo and Pekutatan in Jembrana; Rendang and Selat in Karangasem; and Baturiti, Penebel, Pupuan, Salemadeg Barat and Selemadeg in Tabanan.
The Nov. 2 entry therefore described a time-limited warning window rather than a general forecast for the entire day.
