Gilimanuk — PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry will waive 100% of port-service charges for eligible ferry users at 14 ports during the Christmas 2026 and New Year 2027 travel period, including Bali’s Gilimanuk and Padangbai ports, according to the company’s president director, Heru Widodo, on 31 October 2026.
Why it matters: Eligible passengers and vehicle users travelling through Gilimanuk and Padangbai can receive a waiver of the port-service component for departures from 22 December 2026 to 10 January 2027.
The waiver applies to foot passengers and users of Golongan II and Golongan IVA vehicles on seven ASDP-operated ferry routes, covering both regular and express services. It applies to the port-service component of the ferry fare, not to every component of the ticket price.
ASDP said the programme is part of the government’s transport stimulus for the 2026 school holiday and the Christmas and New Year period. The seven routes include Ketapang–Gilimanuk and Padangbai–Lembar, connecting Bali with East Java and West Nusa Tenggara respectively.
Stimulus tickets are scheduled to go on sale on 7 November 2026. The fare facility applies to departures from 22 December 2026 through 10 January 2027.
ASDP projects that the programme could benefit 188,909 foot passengers and users of 467,118 vehicles, according to reports citing the company.
