Denpasar — Bali is forecast to see light rain on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2026, with temperatures of 20–33 degrees Celsius and east-to-south winds of 4–35 kilometers per hour, according to the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysical Agency (BMKG).
The forecast applies across Bali, while BMKG’s early-warning information for the period from 8 a.m. WITA on Oct. 29 to 8 a.m. WITA on Oct. 30 listed no regency or city under a rainfall warning. Conditions may still vary by location: a separate report citing the agency forecast mostly cloudy weather at major tourist destinations, with rain expected in Bedugul during the afternoon.
Why it matters for Bali visitors
The combination of light rain and a broad temperature range means visitors may encounter wet conditions even without an active district-level rainfall warning. The forecast is statewide rather than a guarantee for every resort, beach or inland destination, and the agency’s local outlook includes differences between tourist areas.
BMKG is Indonesia’s national weather agency. Its forecast placed the day’s maximum temperature at 33 degrees Celsius and the minimum at 20 degrees Celsius. Winds were expected from the east to south at 4–35 kilometers per hour.
The same report said sea waves could reach 3.0 meters in the waters south of Bali. It also described risks for ferries and fishing boats under specified wind and wave conditions. Those marine conditions are separate from the absence of a rainfall warning for Bali’s regencies and cities.
For the Oct. 29 outlook at Ubud, Kintamani, Besakih, Nusa Dua, Kuta, Tanah Lot and Sanur, the forecast was mostly cloudy from morning to night. Bedugul was forecast to receive rain in the afternoon and cloudy conditions in the morning and evening.
