Bali Interfood 2026 gathered 110 participants and 35 food-and-beverage UMKM from eight countries at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center.

Nusa Dua — Bali Interfood 2026 brought together 110 participants, including 35 food and beverage micro, small and medium enterprises (UMKM), at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center from Wednesday, 2 September, to Friday, 4 September 2026, in the ITDC tourism area of Badung Regency, according to broadcaster RRI and local media reports.
The seventh edition of the trade show was organised by Krista Exhibitions and positioned as an international platform linking local businesses with overseas companies, hospitality buyers and suppliers serving the food, beverage, hotel, restaurant and café sectors, according to coverage by Fajar Bali and other outlets.
RRI reported that the 110 participants came from eight countries: China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Japan and France.
Fajar Bali noted that the 35 UMKM included eight food-and-beverage businesses based in Bali, which were highlighted as part of efforts to strengthen local participation in the tourism supply chain.
Local businesses seek wider markets
Krista Exhibitions chief executive Daud D. Salim said the exhibition aimed to give local food and beverage businesses a chance to promote their products and build international networks, while increasing the number of Bali-based UMKM in future editions, according to RRI and Fajar Bali.
The exhibition covered ingredients, bakery and pastry products, coffee, wine and spirits, hotel and restaurant supplies, catering services, processing equipment, packaging technology and related business solutions, according to pre-event information from several business and tourism outlets.
Its co-located programmes included Bali Hotel & Tourism, Bali Coffee Expo, Bali Wine & Spirit and Bakery Indonesia Expo 2026, according to local business media reports.
Staf Ahli Gubernur Bali bidang Perekonomian, Keuangan dan Pembangunan I Wayan Ekadina welcomed the exhibition as supporting provincial efforts to empower UMKM and strengthen the tourism economy, according to RRI.
He said Bali’s tourism sector depends on local food and beverage businesses and expressed hope that products based on Balinese traditions could reach markets beyond the island.
The chairman of the Bali chapter of the Indonesian Hotels and Restaurants Association, Tjokorda Oka Artha Ardana Sukawati, was also quoted by RRI as saying that food and beverage businesses play a significant role in tourism and that spending on food and drink accounts for an important share of visitor activity.

Business matching and hospitality focus
According to RRI, the exhibition included a business-matching room intended to bring hotel, restaurant, café and bakery procurement representatives together with suppliers and exhibitors.
Programmes listed by RRI included meetings with purchasing and supplier groups, coffee-focused sessions and networking activities involving hospitality and restaurant associations.
Coverage by RRI and other outlets stated that the event hosted the Indonesian selection for the Gelato World Cup, alongside workshops, product demonstrations, wine-pairing sessions and training programmes.
Krista Training Center, in cooperation with the Indonesian Bakers Association, offered professional certification programmes, while other activities focused on gelato, coffee, bakery and culinary skills, according to local media reports.
Salim was quoted as saying that organisers plan to broaden future editions by including UMKM working in hospitality-related products such as soap and skincare products for spas, with a proposed transition toward a Bali Interfood and Hospitality format, according to RRI.
Media reports said the organisers targeted 15,000 visitors over the three days, but final attendance figures and the value of any business deals agreed during the exhibition had not been disclosed as of mid-September.
