Denpasar — Bali’s port weather was clear or partly cloudy at 14:00 WITA on Oct. 19, 2026, with local waves ranging from 0,1 to 1,25 metres.
The conditions covered nine ports, including Benoa and Sanur. At Benoa Port, conditions were partly cloudy and waves measured between 0,5 and 1,25 metres. At Sanur Port, conditions were clear and waves also measured between 0,5 and 1,25 metres.
Why the conditions matter to Bali travellers
The figures provide a snapshot of conditions at individual ports rather than a blanket description of every sea route around Bali. Waves in northern Bali waters were 0,5–1,25 metres and in southern Bali waters were 1,0–3,0 metres.
That distinction matters for foreign visitors using fast boats or other marine transport. A port may report clear weather while nearby southern waters experience higher waves. Conditions were also listed at Gilimanuk, Padangbai, Nusa Penida, Kusamba and Serangan, among other ports.
The forecast for the southern section of the Bali Strait was valid from Oct. 18, 2026, at 08:00 WITA through Oct. 19, 2026, at 07:00 WITA. No port closure, cancellation or further action was stated.
