Denpasar — The Bali Provincial Government is preparing the One Family One Graduate scholarship programme for the 2027 academic year, with about 800 applicants recorded by early October 2026 and a total quota of 2,500 students.

The update was given by I Ketut Wica, head of the Bali Regional Research and Innovation Agency, as the selection process continued through public and private universities working with the provincial government. The programme is intended for prospective students in Bali, and the available places are still being filled.

Bali’s 2,500-place scholarship programme remains open to applicants

For prospective students and families, the figures mean that the application process has not yet reached the programme’s stated capacity. The Bali Provincial Government said universities are continuing to identify and select candidates, so the reported 800 applicants represent only the data received by the province at the time of the update.

The programme is known in Indonesian as Satu Keluarga Satu Sarjana, or SKSS. According to the reports, candidates must be Bali residents, have graduated from senior high school or an equivalent level, and obtain a recommendation from their village government. The reports also state that applicants are not required to hold a certificate for economically disadvantaged families or to be listed in Indonesia’s Integrated Social Welfare Data.

The selection is being conducted through public and private higher-education institutions that have cooperation agreements with the Bali Provincial Government. I Ketut Wica said the province had received data on about 800 people out of the 2,500 places available. The update was reported on Oct. 4, following his remarks on Oct. 3.
