Bali Sets Mobile Driving-Licence Renewals Across Four Regencies

Bali — Mobile services for renewing A and C driving licences are operating on Wednesday, Sept. 23, in Badung, Karangasem, Bangli and Klungkung, according to reports published by Bali Post and Detik Bali.

The services are scheduled at multiple locations, with opening times ranging from 08:00 to 09:00 WITA (UTC+8). The listed sites include Dalung and the Badung public-service mall, Candidasa, Kintamani, the Klungkung regency office and Nusa Penida.

Why the mobile licence services matter to Bali residents

For foreign residents or visitors who hold an Indonesian driving licence, the schedule identifies where licence-renewal services are available on that date. The reports describe the service as SIM Keliling, or mobile driving-licence service, and identify the A and C licence categories as eligible for renewal.

In Badung, services are listed at the fire station in Dalung, east of Dalung Market, and at the Mall Pelayanan Publik in the Badung government centre, beginning at 08:00 WITA. Karangasem lists the Candidasa tourist area from 09:00 WITA until 12:00 WITA.

Klungkung lists the area in front of the Klungkung regent’s office and the Klungkung Nusa Penida police sub-sector, beginning at 08:30 WITA and continuing until service ends. Detik Bali separately reports the Klungkung locations as the regent’s office and the Nusa Penida auxiliary Samsat office, with service beginning at 09:00 WITA.

The differing times reported for some locations mean the published schedules are not fully identical. The Bali Post report provides the four-district schedule and is the source for the 08:00, 09:00 and 08:30 start times used above.
