Ubud — The British School of Bali says it will open a purpose-built main campus in Tegallalang, Ubud, for the 2026–2027 academic year, expanding a school that currently serves children aged 2 to 11 under the English National Curriculum.

The school’s website says the new campus is planned for April 2026 and will add Year 7 from September 2026, with enhanced facilities for academic, artistic and social development. NOW! Bali reported on the school’s development and said it was set to open a new main campus in the Ubud area.

The school is listed at Jl. Sri Wedari No. 24, Tegallalang, Kecamatan Ubud, Kabupaten Gianyar, Bali, and materials from the school describe the campus as being within Onyx Park Resort in Ubud. Independent school guides also place the school at the same Tegallalang address and say it serves ages 2 to 11.

According to the school, the current programme covers Early Years and Primary education, with the English curriculum structured from nursery through Year 6, and secondary education scheduled to begin later. The school also says it uses UK-qualified teachers and small classes, with a broader emphasis on confidence, creativity, critical thinking and communication.

Facilities described for the new campus include larger classrooms, specialist learning areas, sports amenities, creative studios and collaborative spaces. The school has not publicly detailed construction cost, total investment or student capacity in the materials reviewed.

For families in Bali, the main confirmed update is that the school is moving ahead with a new Ubud campus while retaining its British-curriculum model and 2-to-11 age range at present.
