Fire Destroys Eight Shrines at Sinabun Temple in Buleleng

Sinabun — A fire on Friday, Sept. 25, destroyed eight shrines at Pura Dadia Arya Wang Bang Pinatih in Banjar Dinas Jero, Sinabun village, Buleleng. Firefighters, residents and related agencies brought the blaze under control at about 12:30 WITA (UTC+8). No deaths were reported.

The fire was reported at about 11 a.m. WITA and spread quickly through flammable materials, including thatched ijuk roofs and temple cloth. Two fire engines were sent to the site. Material losses were estimated at Rp200 million (about US$13,000).
