Tabanan Agency Offers Free Waste Drop-Off Behind Debes Stadium

Tabanan — The Tabanan Environmental Agency is deploying one truck and five staff each day from 6:00 to 9:00 WITA (UTC+8) to collect and sort waste along By Pass Ir. Soekarno. Residents may bring waste free of charge to the Waste Depot behind Debes Stadium, where agency staff assist with receiving and sorting it.

The operation was reported on Sept. 23, 2026, by Bali Post. The agency said the road cleaning is carried out daily and that collected waste is sorted before disposal, with recyclable inorganic material separated for further management.

Free drop-off gives residents a local waste-handling point

For foreign residents and visitors in Tabanan, the practical meaning is that the depot behind Debes Stadium is an official no-fee drop-off point for waste. Staff are available there every day to help with collection and sorting. The arrangement concerns household or other waste brought by members of the public; the report does not state separate rules for particular types of waste or a different service for visitors.

The agency’s morning deployment combines roadside cleanup with waste management at source. Its staff first sort the material collected along the bypass rather than sending it directly to a disposal site. Bali Post identified I Made Surya Dharma as head of the Tabanan Environmental Agency and reported that the daily cleaning is intended to keep the main road clear.
