Mangupura — Badung recorded 671,014 foreign visitor arrivals in September 2026, according to the Badung Tourism Office, while arrivals from India rose 19.44 percent from the previous month.

The figures were reported on Oct. 9 and updated on Oct. 14. Overall arrivals were 2.61 percent higher than in September 2025, when Badung recorded 653,955 foreign visitors. The data covered arrivals through I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport.

Australia remained Badung’s largest source market, with 169,782 arrivals in September, or 25.3 percent of the total. China ranked second with 56,349 arrivals, while India ranked third after recording 43,027 arrivals.

India’s growth reshapes Badung’s visitor mix

The increase from India was measured against the previous month, according to the reports. NusaBali said the September data were based on airport crossing records and identified India as the fastest-growing market among the three largest source markets. The earlier report also described India’s rise during September through airport immigration data.

For visitors and foreign residents arriving through Ngurah Rai, the figures provide a snapshot of the markets driving traffic into Badung, Bali’s main tourism district. They do not represent all foreign arrivals in Bali, but arrivals recorded for Badung through the airport.

The reports did not state a further government measure or next step connected to the September results.
