Badung Runs Mobile SIM Renewals at Dalung and Public Service Mall

Mangupura — Badung’s mobile driving-licence renewal service operated on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2026, at the Dalung Fire and Rescue Station, east of Dalung Market, and the Badung Public Service Mall at the Badung Government Center. The service ran from 08:00 to 12:00 WITA (UTC+8) and handled renewals for SIM A and SIM C licences.

Applicants were required to bring a photocopy of an electronic identity card, a photocopy of a still-valid licence, and health and psychological certificates. Additional administrative charges applied at the service location.

Why it matters to readers

For foreign residents and visitors, the notice describes an Indonesian police service for renewing eligible local driving licences, not a replacement for the licence or permit requirements that apply to someone driving in Indonesia with foreign documents. The service covered renewals before the licence expired; an expired licence was handled as a new-licence application, according to a separate report on the same schedule.

The schedule was published by Bali Post and separately reported by JPNN Bali. The two reports agree on the two Badung locations and the date, but differ on the closing time: Bali Post reported 12:00 WITA, while JPNN Bali reported 13:00 WITA. This item uses the 12:00 WITA time in the candidate report. Bali Post also said the schedule could change and that updates were available through the Bali Traffic Directorate and the local Badung Police.
