Denpasar — Bali’s Regional Disaster Management Agency said light rain remained possible in eight regencies from Oct. 17 to 20, 2026, while a meteorological-drought warning remained in force across the island.
The agency’s second-ten-day October bulletin identified Badung, Tabanan, Jembrana, Buleleng, Karangasem, Klungkung, Bangli and Gianyar as areas where light rain could occur. It also said no early warning for high rainfall had been issued.
Bali faces mixed weather risks during the dry season
The update describes a dry-season pattern with localised rain still possible. For residents and visitors, that means conditions may vary sharply between regencies: generally dry weather can continue while brief rain affects travel, outdoor plans and local water conditions.
The bulletin was issued by the Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah, or Regional Disaster Management Agency, for Bali. Its warning on meteorological drought indicates that the risk remains tied to prolonged dry conditions, even though the forecast allows for light rain in several parts of the province.
The agency’s listed areas span southern, western, northern, eastern and central Bali. Badung and Gianyar include heavily visited areas, while Tabanan, Jembrana, Buleleng, Karangasem, Klungkung and Bangli cover other major population and tourism zones.
The forecast period runs from Oct. 17 through Oct. 20. The agency did not report a high-rainfall warning for the same period.
