Tabanan — Perumda Tirta Amertha Buana is distributing clean water three times a week to two drought-affected villages in Tabanan, with each delivery carrying 5,000 liters, according to a report published on Oct. 16, 2026.

The deliveries began in mid-September as a prolonged dry season reduced access to clean water. The villages named in the report are Tiyinggading in West Selemadeg and Belimbing in Pupuan. The utility said residents can report leaks or interruptions in water flow so the service can respond.

Why the deliveries matter to Tabanan residents

The distribution provides an emergency supply for communities whose water sources have weakened during the dry season. For residents and visitors staying in the affected areas, the report indicates that water availability may vary by location and that the utility remains the point of contact for service disruptions.

Perumda Tirta Amertha Buana, the Tabanan regional drinking-water company, is operating the deliveries at two service points. Each trip carries 5,000 liters, and the schedule is three times a week. The company’s public-relations official, Putu Wahyu Untung Suardana, said the assistance is intended to help residents facing difficulty obtaining clean water during the dry season.

Separate reporting described related emergency deliveries by Tabanan’s Regional Disaster Management Agency and the utility in West Selemadeg. Those reports identified Antosari and Tiying Gading as recipient villages and recorded deliveries of 5,000 liters at individual distribution points, showing that water shortages have affected several communities in western Tabanan.

The Oct. 16 report also said requests for new connections increased during October as some bore wells experienced declining flow or dried up. It did not state an end date for the distribution schedule.
