Denpasar — Bali’s disaster agency retained a meteorological-drought warning in its October 10 update and specified light-rain potential in Tabanan and Buleleng for the Oct. 7–10 forecast period.

The notice said Bali generally remained in the dry season during the first 10 days of October. It also said there was no early warning for high rainfall during the period. The forecast for Oct. 7–10 described generally partly cloudy conditions, with possible light rain in Tabanan and Buleleng.

The warning keeps drought on Bali’s risk map

For residents and visitors, the update signals that the possibility of isolated rain does not mark the end of Bali’s dry-season conditions. The agency’s warning concerns meteorological drought, while the forecast identifies limited areas where light rain may occur. The notice applies to Bali and names Tabanan and Buleleng for the final forecast window.

The report was published by the Regional Disaster Management Agency of Bali Province, known in Indonesia as Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah Provinsi Bali. Its early-warning notice covered the first ten days of October 2026 and separately listed forecast periods from Oct. 1–3, Oct. 4–6 and Oct. 7–10. The earlier periods also included other regencies, but the Oct. 7–10 forecast specifically identified Tabanan and Buleleng.

Indonesia’s Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysical Agency, or BMKG, separately identified Bali among the areas covered by a meteorological-drought early warning for the first 10 days of October 2026. The two notices provide official context for the continued drought watch.
