Bangli — Five tourist attractions in Bangli had collected Rp 29.3 billion (about US$1.8 million) in entrance-fee revenue by the end of October 2026, or 49.98 percent of the year’s Rp 58.8 billion (about US$3.6 million) target, according to the Bangli Tourism and Culture Office.

The office expects the final realization to reach only 60 to 70 percent of the annual target. The figures were reported on Nov. 1, 2026, with two months remaining in the year and the shortfall still substantial.

Bangli’s tourism revenue remains below its 2026 target

The five attractions generating the revenue are Penglipuran, Batur, Kehen, Terunyan and Penulisan. Penglipuran contributed more than Rp 18 billion (about US$1.1 million), while Batur recorded Rp 10.7 billion (about US$656,000). Kehen contributed Rp 445 million (about US$27,000), Terunyan Rp 188 million (about US$12,000) and Penulisan Rp 19 million (about US$1,200).

The revenue is a local tourism levy collected by Bangli Regency from the attractions, separate from Bali’s provincial levy for foreign visitors. For travelers, the figures indicate that entrance charges at individual destinations support local government revenue and are not the same payment as Bali’s separate tourist levy.

The Bangli office said the remaining two months would leave limited time to close the gap. It is projecting year-end receipts at 60 to 70 percent of the Rp 58.8 billion (about US$3.6 million) target rather than full achievement.
