Denpasar — On Oct. 28, Bali Governor Wayan Koster proposed creating a joint coordination team to turn Ningxia’s cooperation offer into specific programs during a meeting with a Ningxia delegation in Denpasar.
The discussions covered tourism, culture, trade, agriculture and green energy. Koster also received the delegation as Bali and Ningxia explored areas for practical cooperation.
A proposed team would give the partnership a practical next step
For businesses, cultural institutions and tourism operators, the proposal points to a possible framework for identifying projects between Bali and Ningxia. The areas include tourism promotion, cultural exchange, agricultural cooperation, trade and clean-energy initiatives.
The meeting builds on broader Bali-China ties. Bali officials have described cooperation with China as extending across culture, economics, trade, tourism, education and handicrafts. The relationship has also included discussion of infrastructure and environmental cooperation, while Bali has pursued clean-energy policies aimed at supporting a more sustainable tourism economy.
In practical terms, the proposed coordination team would identify opportunities and prepare concrete cooperation programs. Its proposed role would connect the cooperation areas discussed at the meeting with specific programs for Bali and Ningxia. The proposal followed Koster’s meeting with the Ningxia delegation in Denpasar and focused on turning the delegation’s cooperation offer into practical work.
