Preferred Hotels Adds Four Bali Properties to L.V.X. Collection

Bali — Preferred Hotels & Resorts has added four Bali properties to its L.V.X. Collection, expanding its portfolio in Indonesia to five member hotels, according to the company and trade reports published on Sept. 3-4, 2026.

The new members are Ametis Villa Bali in Canggu, Nuju Uluwatu in Uluwatu, Samsara Ubud in Ubud and The Meru Sanur in Sanur. Preferred said the additions also lift its Southeast Asia portfolio to 25 member properties across seven countries.

Four destinations, four different offerings

Ametis Villa Bali is a 14-villa retreat in Canggu, a coastal area known for its rice fields, beaches and surf culture. The property is part of the L.V.X. Collection and is positioned as an intimate luxury stay.

Nuju Uluwatu is an adults-only retreat with 17 private pool villas in the Bingin area of Uluwatu. The property debuted in July 2026, according to trade reporting.

Samsara Ubud sits in Kelusa Village, north of central Ubud, and has 17 villas. It is described as a wellness-oriented resort with a One-Michelin-Key distinction, heated infinity pools and the Chakra Spa.

The Meru Sanur is the largest of the four additions, with 184 suites on Sanur Beach. It is located within The Sanur, Indonesia’s first special economic zone dedicated to health and wellness tourism.

Christine Tan, Preferred Hotels & Resorts’ area managing director for Southeast Asia, said the expansion reflects growing interest in experience-led luxury travel and gives guests and partners more choice.

Preferred said the Bali additions strengthen its presence in Indonesia alongside AYANA Midplaza Jakarta, which was already part of its local portfolio.
