Sanur Kauh Cleanup Removes Four Truckloads From Tahura Ngurah Rai

Denpasar — The Sanur Kauh village government and other groups removed four truckloads of waste from the Tahura Ngurah Rai mangrove area near Jalan Bypass Ngurah Rai, south of Sanur Reservoir, on Friday, Sept. 25.

The cleanup involved government officials, authorities, community groups and residents. Waste collected in the area was transported using cleaning vehicles belonging to Sanur Kauh Village and the Denpasar City Environmental Agency.

Why the cleanup matters to visitors and residents

Tahura Ngurah Rai is a mangrove forest area, so the reported cleanup addressed waste that could contribute to pollution around the ecosystem.
