Nusa Dua — Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha, known as Undiksha, is hosting the 12th National Convention on Indonesian Education at the Nusa Dua Convention Center from Oct. 2 to 4, bringing together 1,694 participants from 12 state teacher-training institutions.
The convention is scheduled as a national forum for academics, university leaders and education stakeholders. Reports say the gathering will discuss the direction of Indonesia’s education transformation toward Indonesia Emas 2045, under a theme focused on innovation, collaboration and sustainable education.
Why the convention matters to Bali’s education visitors
For foreign residents and visitors in Bali, the event is primarily a significant academic gathering rather than a change to immigration, tourism or public-access rules. Its stated venue is in Nusa Dua, while the participating institutions are members of the Forum of State Teacher-Training Institutions. The reports identify 1,694 participants and 12 institutions, but do not state that the convention will affect airport operations, visitor entry requirements or general access to Nusa Dua.
Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha is based in Singaraja and is the event’s host. The convention brings together academics, leaders of higher-education institutions and other education stakeholders. The reports also say that Indonesia’s minister for higher education, science and technology, Prof. Brian Yuliarto, Ph.D., is scheduled to open the event.
The convention is set to run through Oct. 4 at the Nusa Dua Convention Center. One report describes the event as a forum intended to formulate the direction of national education, while another says it will address transformation toward Indonesia Emas 2045.
