Badung Adds 48 LPG Deliveries as Holiday Demand Rises

Badung — The Badung Regency Government and PT Pertamina Patra Niaga arranged 48 additional deliveries of 3-kilogram LPG between Sept. 14 and Sept. 25, distributing 6,720 cylinders across 24 locations in Badung, according to reports published during the programme.

The deliveries respond to increased demand and reported shortages of subsidized LPG in Bali. The Badung Office of Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises, and Trade said the additional supply was directed to locations identified as experiencing shortages. The official Badung Regency Government account said the allocation was made through coordination with Pertamina Patra Niaga and Hiswana Migas.

Why it matters to foreign residents and visitors

For foreigners staying in Badung, the programme concerns the availability of subsidized household cooking fuel in areas including Dalung and Canggu. The 3-kilogram cylinders are part of Indonesia’s subsidized LPG distribution system, so the reported intervention is a local supply measure rather than a change to immigration, tourism or accommodation rules. Visitors who use rented homes or cook in longer-term accommodation may encounter the effects of local availability and distribution, while hotels and restaurants may use different supply arrangements.

The government report said demand for 3-kilogram LPG in Badung had risen from late July through September 2026. The extra deliveries were scheduled according to local needs and supply conditions. One reported distribution took place at the Dalung fuel station identified as SPBU 54.803.22 and at BUPPA Dalung Village on Sept. 16.

The Badung Regency Government also announced low-price market operations in Dalung on Sept. 22 and Canggu on Sept. 24, with staple goods and 3-kilogram LPG included in the programme. The reports said the measures were intended to address shortages, stabilize prices and maintain the flow of subsidized LPG.
