Negara — The Jembrana regency government opened a tender on Oct. 29 for a 20-year partnership to operate Hotel Jimbarwana in Negara, Bali.
The tender is for a private legal entity to manage the regional government-owned hotel on Jalan Udayana, Baler Bale Agung, Negara.
Why the Hotel Jimbarwana tender matters
The arrangement sets the financial terms for a long-term private operating partnership involving a public asset. For a foreign resident or visitor, the immediate practical significance is that the hotel is being offered for a new operating partnership; the announcement does not state any new rule affecting visas, entry requirements or access to Negara.
According to the report, eligible legal entities were invited to participate in the tender for the hotel, which is located in Jembrana’s administrative center. The fixed contribution is an annual payment to the regency, while the separate profit-sharing requirement and development commitment establish additional obligations for the successful partner.
Selection documents were available from Oct. 29 through Nov. 2, 2026. Bid documents were scheduled to be submitted from Nov. 6 to Nov. 8, 2026, at the Jembrana Regency Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency.
The tender concerns Hotel Jimbarwana as a regional government asset. The report does not identify the winning partner or state when a new operator will begin managing the property.
