Nusa Dua — Bank BPD Bali participated in the International Fora for Kredit Program Pemerintah 2026 at Mulia Resort Nusa Dua, Bali, on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2026. The bank said its Kredit Program Perumahan had distributed Rp226,79 miliar (about US$13.3 million), or 75,63 percent of its target.

The forum was organised by the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs and brought together officials including Airlangga Hartarto, the coordinating minister for economic affairs; Maman Abdurahman, the minister of micro, small and medium enterprises; and Wayan Koster, the governor of Bali.

Why the housing-credit figure matters in Bali

The housing programme supports financing linked to the government’s housing priority. For residents and businesses in Bali, the figure indicates the scale of lending already channelled through Bank BPD Bali’s housing-credit programme, while the 75,63 percent result shows that the bank had not yet reached its stated target as of the report’s latest data.

The bank also reported that its Kredit Usaha Rakyat distribution had reached Rp 2,04 triliun (about US$120.2 million), or 99,98 percent of an overall target of Rp 2,05 triliun (about US$120.8 million), based on data as of Oct. 26, 2026. The forum’s stated theme was “Empowering MSMEs Through Innovative and Sustainable Financing.”

For foreign residents or visitors, the report does not announce a new immigration, residency or tourism rule. Its practical relevance is economic: the programme concerns housing finance and government-supported credit in Bali, rather than visitor access or travel conditions.
