Seminyak — John Hardy is marking its 50th anniversary in 2025 with commemorative collections, an archives exhibition and a chain-making masterclass at its Seminyak boutique, according to the brand’s website and a Bali lifestyle publication.
The company says the anniversary year features the Icon 50 and Spear 50 collections, alongside a 50th anniversary exhibition in Seminyak displaying archival ephemera, photography and original designs from the jeweller’s past five decades.
John Hardy’s official site says the Seminyak boutique hosts the anniversary exhibition daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., with advance reservation recommended and a minimum of two people. A local feature published earlier this year said the exhibition and masterclass were part of the brand’s 50th-anniversary rollout in Bali.
The new Icon Chain Masterclass is offered at the Seminyak Boutique and Gallery, where participants learn the hand-weaving process behind the brand’s signature chain and leave with a personalised bracelet, according to the company and the Bali feature.
John Hardy’s website says the experience includes a hands-on workshop, a tour of the archives and workshop, and a family-style Long Table lunch. The Seminyak session is listed as running daily from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with two days’ advance reservation required.
The published price in the Bali feature is IDR 18,100,000 nett per person. John Hardy’s official site lists the Seminyak masterclass page as a separate offering within its Bali visitor experiences, while an itinerary published by Singapore Airlines’ in-flight publication also describes the Seminyak class as a three-hour session ending with lunch and a customised bracelet.
John Hardy says the anniversary collections and exhibition are part of a year-long celebration of its 1975 founding in Bali. The company’s story page says 2025 marks the brand’s 50th anniversary and the launch of its JH 50 collections.
Founded in Bali in 1975, John Hardy has built its reputation on handcraft techniques such as chain-weaving, hand-finishing and carving, according to the company’s own materials and the Bali feature. The brand’s official story also places its 50th anniversary in 2025 and ties the milestone to new collections.
