Bangli Regency — Bangli Regency collected Rp29.3 billion in levies from five tourist attractions by the end of October 2026, according to the Bangli Tourism and Culture Office. The amount represented 49.98% of the regency’s Rp58.8 billion target.

The office attributed the weaker performance to declining visitor numbers at almost all of the attractions, citing shifting travel trends and the low season. It estimated that levy collection would reach only 60% to 70% of the annual target by the end of December.

The figures cover Penglipuran, Batur, Kehen, Terunyan and Penulisan. Penglipuran generated more than Rp18 billion, followed by Batur with Rp10.7 billion, Kehen with Rp445 million, Terunyan with Rp188 million and Penulisan with Rp19 million.

To improve collection during the remaining two months of the year, the office said it had expanded levy collection to alternative access routes. Charges previously focused on visitors to the Terunyan cemetery were extended to people visiting Terunyan village and hikers heading to Bukit Terunyan and Banjar Madya.

The office also said electronic ticketing had been introduced at all five attractions from September, after initially being used at Kintamani and Penglipuran.

The latest figures follow a weaker result through September, when Bangli had collected Rp26.7 billion, or 45.41% of the same annual target, according to NusaBali. That report said the main decline at that stage was recorded at Batur in Kintamani, where average daily visits fell from 1,200 to 900.

The October figures and year-end estimate were reported by Bali Post on November 1, 2026, citing Bangli tourism official Budiastawa.
