Bali — Bali’s weather forecast for Monday, Oct. 12, calls for partly cloudy conditions, with the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysical Agency (BMKG) reporting temperatures of 18–32°C and east-southeast winds at 6–32 kilometers per hour. The forecast applies across Bali during the day.

BMKG’s early-warning information, as reported by Bali Post, covers 8 a.m. WITA on Monday through 8 a.m. WITA on Tuesday, Oct. 13. No Bali regency or city received a rain warning ranging from light to extreme during that period.

Why Bali’s forecast matters to visitors

For foreign visitors, the forecast indicates generally dry conditions across the island, but it does not mean every location will have identical skies. Conditions may differ between inland areas, coastal destinations and higher elevations. The reported wind range is relevant to people planning activities that depend on weather conditions, while BMKG’s warning status distinguishes the island-wide forecast from specific alerts for individual regencies or cities.

The same report says BMKG forecast waves of up to 3.5 meters in the waters south of Bali. It identifies possible risks for ferry operations when winds reach 21 knots and waves reach 2.5 meters, and for fishermen when winds reach 15 knots and waves reach 1.25 meters. Those marine conditions are separate from the absence of rain warnings for Bali’s land areas.

BMKG is Indonesia’s national agency for meteorology, climatology and geophysics. WITA and sunset at 6:14 p.m. WITA. The report does not state any further change to the forecast or warning period.
