Mangupura — India became Badung’s third-largest foreign visitor market in September 2026 after arrivals through I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport rose 19,44 percent from August to 43.027 visitors, according to Badung Tourism Agency data reported on Oct. 9.
The change comes as Badung recorded 671.014 foreign arrivals during the month. Australia remained the largest source market, with 169.782 arrivals, accounting for 25,3 percent of the total. India’s increase was the sharpest among the three leading foreign markets, moving it into third place for September.
For visitors and foreign residents, the figures describe the composition of arrivals entering Bali through the airport; they do not represent a new entry rule, visa requirement or restriction. The data covers arrivals recorded during September and is presented by Badung officials as a measure of the regency’s tourism market.
India’s rise reshapes Badung’s September visitor mix
