Padangbai — The Lembar–Padangbai ferry route will operate around the clock on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2026, with 13 scheduled sailings in each direction between West Lombok and Bali.
The published schedule lists departures from both ports between midnight and 10:30 p.m. Central Indonesia Time, or WITA (UTC+8). The crossing is expected to take about 4 hours 30 minutes, although schedules can change.
For passengers, the published fare is IDR 65,300 (about US$3.65) for adults and IDR 6,100 (about US$0.34) for infants. The route also carries vehicles, with fares varying by vehicle class. The schedule identifies Pelabuhan Lembar in West Lombok and Pelabuhan Padang Bai in Karangasem, Bali, as the terminals.
Why the October 7 schedule matters to travelers
For foreign visitors moving between Bali and Lombok, the timetable provides a practical overnight option and confirms that the public ferry carries both pedestrians and vehicles. Departures are spaced through the day, but the listed times and vessel assignments are operating information rather than a guarantee that every sailing will leave unchanged.
IDN Times Bali reported that the Padang Bai service operates 24 hours during the Oct. 2–8 schedule period, citing the Satpel Pelabuhan Penyeberangan Padang Bai, the local port operating unit. Its Oct. 7 table lists 13 sailing periods from 10:30 p.m. to midnight through 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. IDN Times NTB separately listed 13 ferries from Lembar to Padangbai and 13 in the reverse direction for Oct. 7.
The same published fare details list IDR 65,300 (about US$3.65) for an adult passenger and IDR 6,100 (about US$0.34) for an infant. The crossing covers about 38 nautical miles and normally takes about 4 hours 30 minutes. No later operational change is stated in the reports.
