PLN schedules temporary power cuts in parts of Bali on 5 October

Selected areas of Jembrana — PT PLN (Persero) Unit Induk Distribusi Bali scheduled temporary electricity interruptions on Monday, 5 October 2026, during network maintenance in several parts of the island.
Why it matters: Customers, businesses and visitors in the listed Bali areas may experience temporary electricity interruptions during the scheduled maintenance windows on 5 October 2026.
The work is intended to improve the reliability of electricity supplies and maintain service quality, according to reports citing PLN UID Bali. The interruptions may change if technical conditions in the field require adjustments.
Scheduled areas and times
- Negara: 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at PT Sumina Exstras; 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at CV Sari Tirta Jaya.
- Singaraja: 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Sangket.
- Gianyar: 10:00 a.m. to noon on Jalan Gunung Sari and around Hotel Maya Ubud.
- Karangasem: 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Lipah, Juwuk Legi and Batugede.
- Sanur: noon to 3:00 p.m. on Jalan TPA Suwung, at TPST Tahura and surrounding areas.
The listed interruption periods range from two to three hours, while the two Negara schedules last two and a half hours each.
PLN’s Bali distribution unit said the maintenance and distribution-network strengthening required operational adjustments or load management, according to a report quoting the unit’s announcement. Customers in the affected locations may therefore experience temporary outages during the stated windows.
